Just curious as to what people do when they're not on WC...

I am the warehouse manager for a very large manufacturer and distributor of 'Adult Entertainment Products'. Shhh...don't flame. I know it's immoral.

It pays pretty good and that type of environment doesn't bother me. All my friends are jelous, and the company trips to Atlantic City and Vegas are a lot of fun.

So what do you guys do?

Well in high level corporate mumbo-jumbo speak, I am the 'Director of Technical Services'. In everyday speak, I'm the one everyone yells "HELP!" at.

Styl: Card counters are no longer a problem as the cards are now dealt from shuffling machines, and at the end of every hand they are put back in the machine which constantly shuffles the 4 or 6 decks.

Having said that, card counters were never really a problem as they are quite easy to spot and once you spot them, you just cut 3 decks off the pack of 4 before putting them in the shoe. Therefore, you are only ever playing with approx 50 cards before you reshuffle again. End of card counter.

Funny...

Took them 4 years of going once a week/every 2 weeks to catch me.

But then again, Foxwoods does suck as far as GOOD casinos go.

I am a medical transcriptionist. Right now doctors are protesting high malpractice insurance and walked out of the hospital that was my main account so I am screwed until they come back....and my WC subscription is due in a couple of days and here I am making zilch! Bummer.

Yes, WOM, you are correct, I have been in hiding, but this topic was so fascinating that I had to "come in from the cold" so to speak. But it's very interesting to learn the occupations of the contributors and fans of this web-site.

Well back to hiding in my cave.

I work inventory control for a college textbook wholesaler full time. Part-time I do custom database designs for small medical labs in the area.
